I'm happy to finally bring this post and video tutorial

on recycled paper

Hello everybody,

I use my cutting machine almost every day and this creates too many leftovers.

I wanted to stop feeling guilty about throwing all this paper away and in the end, I'm delighted to be able to share my experience in recycling paper by creating unique paper sheets with beautiful effects and colours.

I want to say that I watched several videos that gave me inspiration, and did some tests and

modifications until I got the result that I liked the most.

This is different from the techniques most used to make paper, where the paper material is transferred to felt or fabrics.

In this case, it will be dried directly in the frame.

Here are the supplies:

- Cardstock/Paper scraps

- Papermaking Screen

- Paper Shredder (scissors works as well)

- Mixer or Blender

- Plastic Storage Box

- Wood protector (recommended)

About the paper making frame:

I haven't found a lot of variety in this product and I must admit that I had to adapt it to my needs. In fact this product is not of excellent quality, but it’s still the cheapest I have found so I could buy more quantities.

To use it at its best, it was essential to protect it with a wood protector.

About the paper shredder:

I have to admit after the first time I used it, I don't know how I could have lived without it!

The one I bought creates micro fragments that are perfect to facilitate the process of creating the paper, and also very cute to fill envelopes and gift boxes.

About the paper drying:

The drying time depends on some factors: layer thickness and weather.

If you have a sunny day you can put the frames directly exposed and the paper will dry in a few hours.

The video will guide you through all the steps...

And It will also suggest some craft projects ideas to use your handmade paper.

In order to stay in the shop and channel theme,

I made this FREE Box SVG available to encourage you to recycle.

You can download the SVG template here
