Abstract collage with leftover pieces from cardstock projects.
After the realization of every project with my cutting machine; I have lots of leftover pieces, which are cute geometric shapes most of the time.
I've never thrown them away. I immediately thought that something could be done with them. So I started separating them, more or less by shape. Yesterday, while I was listening to some good music, I started to play with the shapes, without following precise rules, but simply gluing the pieces here and there, so that they seemed to look good. The result reminds me of Kandinsky, but also a little bit of Mirò.
It wasn't on my to-do list today, but I like being spontaneous and I thought:
"This needs to be shared” :)

I glued them on an A4 (letter format) 80lb cardstock paper that I had available at home, using different types of glue depending on the "thickness" of the leftover pieces.
The Zig 2 Way Glue is perfect for small pieces.
Definitely a stimulating and super creative activity to do with children.
They can later be framed, or hung on our notice boards.
The main thing about all of this is that we are not wasting!
I would like to use and share the hashtag #nowasteofcardstock, where I hope to bring more ideas, and see yours!
Hope you like the idea!
